Watch Shop boasts a huge 123% increase in sales over the past 3 years
SDK Jewellers has been ranked 16 in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 2010, thanks to the success of its internet watch retail brand, Watch Shop.
Published on December 5 2010, The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 fastest-growing private companies, based on sales growth over 3 years.
Established in 2007, Watch Shop has become a leading retailer of brand name designer watches and is the UK’s number one most visited watch website. The Sunday Times stated that SDK now claims to sell “about 100,000 watches per year through its online boutique,” and says that “aggressive advertising and a snappy trade name have aided sales growth of 123 percent a year, from £574,000 in 2007 to an annualised £6.4m in 2010.”
SDK shows a 122.93 percent increase in sales growth, sitting between number 15, medical recruitment consultancy, Team24 at 125.54 percent and moonpig.com at 17 with a 115.51 percent growth.
