The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has announced that seven new businesses have been approved as suppliers to the jewellery buying group.
The new suppliers, which cover a range of product and industry services, are Fiore Roberta, Les Georgettes, Vamp London, Samuel Jones Pearls, Picchiotti, Bandit UK and Axiom Design.
Les Georgettes is an French jewellery brand which is new to the UK, featuring fine metalwork jewellery inset with reversible – and interchangeable – leather bands, while Picchiotti is a luxury Italian fine jewellery brand that is already well established in the trade.
Fiore Roberta is a family-run Italian manufacturer specialising in 18ct gold, diamonds and gemstones. Vamp London crafts silver and gold-plated jewellery in contemporary designs, and Samuel Jones Pearls was established in 1916 and is the oldest UK importer of Japanese cultured pearls.
Meanwhile, Axiom Design Resource and Bandit UK extend the CMJ’s business services offering to its retail members. Axiom Design Resource is a highly experienced retail design agency that has worked to deliver innovative and inspirational design to high street stores since 1995, while Bandit UK offers retailers a high-density security fog system for protection against intruders, burglary and robbery.
CMJ executive director of business development and marketing, Lucy Reece-Raybould, comments: “It’s important for the CMJ to have a comprehensive cross-section of quality approved suppliers, brands and services to ensure that we’re offering our retail members relevant and credible products that they need and that their customers want. This is integral to the CMJ’s retail members retaining their independence and having great choice of new and interesting suppliers.”
Approved suppliers to the CMJ are granted privileged access to its network of 161 retail members with more than 400 doors across the UK and Ireland.
