Market research and client feedback leads to scaled-down full reports.
Solitaire Gemmological Laboratories (SGL) is set to launch its Mini Diamond Report at the Company of Master Jeweller’ spring buying event next week, created following feedback from key clients.
The company will now offer its miniature, pocket-sized versions of its full diamond reports, featuring information on cut, carat, clarity and colour of diamonds, as well as a full sketch of the stone and its proportions.
Alexander Irvine, SGL’s marketing manager, said: “We are always looking to innovate and bring new products to the market that will help retailers and suppliers improve their sales and which bring confidence and transparency to the diamond buying process. The new mini report helps achieve these objectives perfectly in a price sensitive manner.”
The mini report was created following market research and feedback from SGL clients, offering accuracy at a more competitive price point. SGL has already received positive feedback about the reports from diamond company Bass Premier and diamond jewellery manufacturer WorldShiner.
