An elegantly crafted titanium design set with more than 4,200 rubies.
Once in a while a jewellery house will present a piece that is truly astonishing in its execution and craftsmanship.
In the case of G London, the luxury jeweller led by gemstone aficionado Glenn Spiro, its Poppy bracelet is a
striking design currently wowing customers who happen upon it at the G London showcase in Harrods, London.
This deceptively lightweight anodised titanium design also transforms into a brooch, with each of its carefully-hewn petals scattered with more than 4,230 rubies, surrounding a central F VS2 diamond weighing 10.14cts.
Its soft velvet bracelet boasts a clasp where no detail is spared – it too is sprinkled with an icing of stones and a single cabochon ruby in a floral setting. And the Poppy’s best trick? On its underside sits a little winder which, when twisted, gently closes the six petals inwards around the central diamond, just as in nature.
