SHOWCASE: Jewellery Theatre’s glorious garland

Thousands of gemstones used for this statement floral neckpiece.

Jewellery Theatre is the Bond Street shopper’s answer to Alice’s Wonderland — think bejewelled beasties, raindrops and sunrays depicted in pop colours and a seemingly animated array of flora and fauna.

Its Flowers collection, debuted at BaselWorld, pays homage to orchids, lilies and peonies with blooms that decorate the body with warmth and freshness.

Crafted with the thinnest of gold petals, every flower is entwined together to form statement rings, earrings and necklaces, such as this amaryllis-inspired design, which is set with thousands of stones — among them, more than 1,000 green diamonds, 1,000 sapphires and almost 2,000 rubies.
