Tropical-hued earrings inspired by Caribbean island of Martinique.

Luxury French jeweller Piaget has embraced fancy hues for its new Rose Passion collection, influenced by Napoleon Bonaparte’s first wife Joséphine de Beauharnai.

These stunning Exotic Rose earrings are inspired by Joséphine’s homeland of Martinique, in the Caribbean, and the plethora of wild parrots that grace the region. Set in 18ct white gold, the earrings have a remarkable coloured gemstone CV, with 14 brilliant-cut diamonds totalling 1.5ct, alongside two orange garnets of roughly 4.97ct.

Adding to the vibrancy are two cushion-cut rubellites weighing 15.64cts, surrounded by 14 yellow sapphires, 12 aquamarines, 10 tourmalines and two blue sapphires of about 13.93cts. Who said paradise was lost?
