Danish jewellery brand Sif Jakobs Jewellery has reported its best-ever opening day to a trade show at International Jewellery London (IJL) on Sunday.
The IJL show, which took place at London’s Olympia from September 4-6, saw Sif Jakobs Jewellery take more orders on day one than at any other trade event it has attended to date.
In total, the brand opened 11 new accounts and upgraded four existing accounts to shop-in-shops, taking the total number of shop-in-shops in the UK and Ireland to 16.
Matt Finnerty, director of UK & Ireland for Sif Jakobs Jewellery, comments: “What I really liked about IJL this year was the buzz there was at the show and we had a record day of orders. The new collections from Sif Jakobs Jewellery have been really well received by retailers, in particular the new Corte collection.”
The AW16 Corte Baguette range, welcomes new designs to the family, with two sizes of luxurious hoops, a pendant and an ornate bangle, all set with a contemporary combination of baguette-cut and round cubic zirconia stones and available in silver and 18ct yellow or rose gold plate.
In additions founder Sif Jakobs and owner Soren Dahl were also unveiled as Bran Champions at the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 party on Sept 5.
