Temporary London shops to target last-minute shoppers

Ernest Jones and H Samuel will open pop-up stores in London train stations to cash in on last-minute Valentine’s shoppers too busy to visit the high street.

The temporary stores at Waterloo and Paddington stations will stock a selected range of jewellery ranging in price from £10 to £200. The Ernest Jones store at Paddington has been branded Love Boutique while H Samuel’s pop-up at Waterloo has been named Little Store of Love.

Signet marketing director Colin Wagstaffe said: "As a business we continue to focus on being fleet of foot, responding to [customers’] needs. We know that men want to buy Valentine’s gifts and they tend to purchase these at the last minute which can be a stressful experience.”
