Simon Carter is also looking to increase its number of stand-alone stores and plans to open one new store every six months up to 2012.

Simon Carter founder and managing director Simon Carter said: “We want to take more control of our own retail. John Lewis or House of Fraser do a very good job, but they will naturally have their own ideas of what the brand is and I think it would be good to have some more of our stores to run alongside them.”
