Sir by Mawi marks new route for brand

Men’s collection includes dark grey finishes and haematite stones.

Costume jewellery brand Mawi has launched a new collection called Sir by Mawi – a fresh extension into menswear.

The brand announced the new men’s collection after showcasing its new SS13 lines at London Fashion Week last month.

It said: “The brand’s main line collections for women having already garnered a cult following worldwide. An extension of the brand’s contemporary signature, this range combines traditional elements with a modern twist.”

The Sir by Mawi range is said to revive traditional designs for men such as signet rings, ID bracelets and natty accessories such as tie and lapel pins.

Designs include spiked pendants and rings, honeycomb-like cuffs and spike cufflinks, all with a black/grey polished finish and details such as onyx and haematite stones.

The London-based brand has secured Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford as the Sir by Mawi’s range first stockist.
