Designer creates shark’s tooth & shell jewels for Mawgan Porth store.

Jewellery designer Sophie Harley has joined forces with Cornish fashion brand Roos Beach to create a collection for its first standalone store.

The London-based jeweller has created a collection of silver jewellery with shark’s tooth, shell and surfboard motifs, with turquoise and blue enamelled details. The designs will sell exclusively through the new Roos Beach store, set to open next month in Magan Porth, Cornwall, close to the famous fishing port of Padstow.

Harley joined forces with the brand’s founder Roo Cross for the collection, which includes necklaces, earrings and surf-inspired anklets. They have also made a selection of men’s pieces, including a gold pated shark tooth pendant.

Harley said: “This collaboration was a no brainer. I love Roo’s style and we share a very similar aesthetic. It’s been great fun to collaborate with a friend on such as exciting project and I’ve already had an amazing response to the new beach collection. I’m sure we’ll be adding to it as time goes on.

"Roo’s store is going to have amazing and unique merchandise and will prove to be a great destination shop for Cornwall residents and holidaymakers alike."
