Spanish brand Bohemme enters UK market

Spanish jewellery brand, Bohemme, entered the UK market this weekend.

Bohemme is already available in 25 countries, and now the brand has pushed into the UK market, with the appointment of Novus Luxury, headed by Nottingham jeweller Stuart Thexton, to handle sales in the UK and Ireland.

Thexton says: “Acting as a sales agent is a new and exciting venture, and something I’ve been considering for some time. Having spent most my working life at the retail end of the jewellery industry, I’ve developed a good eye for collections that sell.  I’ve been searching for the right brand for the successful launch of Novus Luxury, and Bohemme is that brand.”

Bohemme was created in 2010 by Antonio Espaliú. From the third generation of a Andalusian family of jewellery makers, Espaliú’s career in the Spanish jewellery industry spans 30 years.

Drawing on the skills learned from his father and grandfather, Espaliú combined traditional jewellery making techniques with modern technology to create fashion jewellery brand Bohemme.

Bohemme chief executive officer Antonio Espaliú says:  “The union of innovative design with the inimitable craftsmanship of our master jewellers has been the basis of our growth.  Here in our manufactory in Cordoba we make unique jewellery, sharing our passion with our customers.  We know how to make jewellery that does not go unnoticed and can be worn both day and night.  We are proud to say that Bohemme is 100 per cent handcrafted in Spain.”

In creating his collections Espaliú took his inspiration from the union between the universe and humanity, from history and the natural world. The brand has attractive price points and is made to the highest standards.

Bohemme combines sterling silver with 18ct gold, gemstones and zircons. Bohemme has over 15 collections to choose from, with price points ranging from around £125 to £340 for earrings, rings and pendants, as well as bracelets from £350 to £550.

The Spanish brand supports its stockists with eye-catching point of sale and display material, in-store training for sales staff, store evenings and events as well as advertising campaigns.
