Staff sprayed in raid at Sheila Williams

Welsh jewellers’ staff attacked with unknown substance during robbery.

Store staff at Sheila Williams’ Jewellers are recovering after being sprayed with an unknown substance during a raid on the shop in northeast Wales.

Two female members of staff were taken to hospital after the raid in Mold, Flintshire but were not seriously hurt in the attack on Tuesday afternoon.

The robbers, who were both in their 20s and wore caps and hoods, escaped from the scene with a number of items from the jewellery shop.
