Northampton jeweller adorns shop with flag from Faulklands War.
Northampton jewellery retailer Steffans quite literally flew the flag for the royal wedding celebrations on Friday.
The retailer used a flag from the Falklands War to decorate its shop on Friday to celebrate the nuptials of Kate and Wills.
Steffans uses the Union Jack in its branding but leans towards punkish reimaginings of the flag with antique finishes, monochrome colour schemes or burnt aesthetics. However, to mark the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall the shop chose to display a traditional flag.
The jeweller used the royal celebration as a marketing tool for its business as well as a cause for celebration. On its website it has created curated selections of jewellery with a royal wedding theme. Jewellery picked out includes a crown-topped pearl charm from Thomas Sabo, a Hot Diamonds love heart friendship bracelet and royal blue beads from Pandora.
