Stephen Webster auctions self portrait for charity

Two days left to place bid for artwork made for Face Britain project.

British jeweller Stephen Webster has taken part in a fundraising art project for the Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts that has asked celebrities and artists to create self portraits that will be auctioned off.

Webster has created a mixed media portrait of himself on canvas for the project, which has been dubbed Face Britain. The portrait is currently being auctioned on eBay.

The portrait has two days left on the site and has already attracted nine bids, and at the time of going to press the bidding was sitting at £53.

Webster joins a host of other stars on the project including Sir Cliff Richard, singer Adele, presenter Fearne Cotton, actor Richard E Grant and fashion designer Sir Paul Smith.
