Sumptuous decor offers a slice of France in London.
Chopard recently revamped its boutique space in The Wonder Room at Selfridges on London’s Oxford street, complete with dome-like glass display cases, red velvet stools and sweeping curtains.
The update was part of a wider refresh to its stores using a design concept created specially for the brand by French architect Thierry W. Despont.
The design, featuring light-toned woods, premium leathers, silks and velvet, was first unveiled at Chopard’s store on Madison Avenue in 2007.
The new interior concept has also been applied to Chopard’s store on the Rue du Rhone in Geneva.
