UK brand to begin shipping to retailers in May
UK watch brand Storm has given its product line a major refresh ahead of the spring-summer season.
The company is in the process of introducing its latest watch and jewellery designs to independent retailers and department stores, with a view to the first products appearing on shelves sometime in May.
Storm is bidding to tap demand for bold, bright colours by producing a series of designs that combine style with practicality.
Among the designs in Storm’s 2011 collection is the Cerano — the latest edition to its Storm Black ladies range. The watch is made from sleek ceramic and boasts a sports luxe look with a sapphire glass face. A luxury gold version of the watch will retail at £330.
The Digi watch, meanwhile, represents Storm’s newest silicon-strapped range. It features a large digital display with an LCD and backlight, and comes in eight different colours.
Other models being launched in the market over the coming weeks include the £260 titanium Aquatron diver’s watch; the Sinen model, which features a slender vintage strap; and the Orina, boasting a domed case face that is inlayed with enamel to form a mosaic design.
In addition to updating its watch portfolio, Storm has also strengthened its jewellery collection.
The company has introduced a heart charm bracelet that comes in three separate designs and reinvented the classic leather cord pendant by creating a quad hoop design that features four chunky silver hoops.
It men’s range has also been boosted by the Jido cuff bracelet, which features three connected bangles intertwined with loop detailing and stainless links.
Storm was launched in the market more than 20 years ago and also offers bags, eyewear and fragrances.
