Former 19th century church to house 2013’s hottest jewellery party.
The fourth Professional Jeweller Hot 100 will be revealed at the spectacular Grade I listed One Marylebone in London on September 3.
The venue announcement comes as the Professional Jeweller team prepares to reveal who has made this year’s Hot 100, an annual list that celebrates the entire UK jewellery industry, from the designers, polishers and setters who create each piece through to the retailers and business owners that sell them.
The Hot 100 will be revealed at One Marylebone on the evening of September 3, with support from the Hot 100 principle partner The Company of Master Jewellers, Diamond Partner IJL, Gold Partner Tresor Paris, and evening sponsor Clogau.
The former church located on the Marylebone Road in central London will welcome more than 500 invite-only guests to evening event.
Professional Jeweller editor Kathryn Bishop said: "More details of this year’s Hot 100 party will be released in the coming weeks, but in line with the past three Hot 100 parties Professional Jeweller promises guests an exclusive evening of glamour, good music, food and drink, and a chance to celebrate and network with the crème de la crème of the UK jewellery industry."
The striking One Marylebone venue is regarded as one of the best examples of 19th century Neo-Classical architecture. It was build between 1826 and 1828 to the designs of Sir John Soane to celebrate the defeat of Napoleon.
It is Grade I listed by English Heritage and is one of only three London churches designed by Sir John Soane. It was deconsecrated in the middle of the twentieth century and returned to its former glory in 2007 when it opened its doors as a new events venue.
