Mishca gold necklace to be launched at IJL in September
Supermodel and BBC ONE What Not to Wear presenter Lisa Butcher has been spotted wearing a new Mishca gold vermeil and black onyx necklace.
The necklace, also worn by celebrity psychologist Dr. Linda Papadopolous in ITV’s Alan Titchmarch show, is from Mishca’s Nite Collection, which is to be launched in September this year at the International Jewellery London (IJL) show.
The Nite Collection was created in tribute to the artist Van Gogh and inspired by his Starry Night paintings. The long gold vermeil necklace with black onyx gemstones was motivated by the Café Terrace at Night portrait, in which bright yellow surroundings contrast sharply with a dark cityscape silhouette.
The necklace consists of asymmetric hammered gold vermeil swirls adorned with black onyx round gemstones. Mishca’s silver and gold vermeil necklaces, bracelets and earrings are all hand-crafted and hand finished. The designer creates flamboyant trend-led statement pieces, as well as more traditional, classic jewellery.
