Two men from Salford appear in court to face charges this week.

Two suspects have been named and remanded in custody for carrying out a £1m robbery at Rox’s Edinburgh store on January 15.

Lincoln Warmington, 26, and Elliot Jorgensen, 25, both from Salford, Greater Manchester, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday January 25 in connection with the robbery, in which high-value diamond jewellery and watches were taken.

They made no plea or declaration to the charge which states they allegedly robbed Rox in George Street on Tuesday, January 15. Warmington and Jorgensen are set to appear in court again this week, having been remanded in custody on Friday January 25.

It is believed that Rox has taken steps to add more security to the store in the weeks since the robbery, including a fog cloud system.
