Swatch expands airport retail with four openings

New Irish and German airport shops will take count to 33 by July.

Swatch is expanding its airport retail business with the opening of a new store at Dublin Airport and four new watch and jewellery stores at Berlin Brandenburg International Airport in Germany.

Through its airport retail arm Tech-Airport, Swatch will open an Hour Passion shop at Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport. The 86 sqm store has been described by the brand as having a “modern technological, eco-friendly and functional design”.

The shop will stock brands including Swatch, Flik Flak, Certina, Calvin Klein, Hamilton, Tissot, Rado and Longines. The store will be located in the same terminal as a Flik Flak-branded children’s play area.

In Germany, Swatch is planning to open two Hour Passion shops, an Omega store and a Swatch counter at Berlin Brandenburg International Airport in July.

The new Irish and German openings will bring Tech-Airports concession count to 33.
