Wedding ring brand receives praise from customers across North West.

Lancashire-based Sym Jewellery has been awarded the Jewellery Supplier of the Year category at the Country Brides Wedding Awards 2011.

The team from Sym is said to have fought off “stiff competition” from other local and national jewellery suppliers. They were presented their award by the magazine’s publisher, Duane Thornborough, at a ceremony held at Mere Golf and Country Club in Cheshire.

The company was commended for its attention to detail, quality of gemstones and overall craftsmanship. Thornborough said: “The awards were based on nominations received from brides and bridegrooms across the North West and Sym Jewellery are deserving and outright winners in this category.

“The competition was fierce but having read the testimonials we received from each nominee, it is clear to see that it is the team, the products and the ethical approach they take that captures the attention of couples looking to purchase their wedding rings and accessories,” he added.

The company was launched in 2004 and since then Sym Jewellery has built a solid reputation in the wedding sector but also as a jewellery retailer of traditional and modern rings and accessories in the North West.

A spokeswoman for Sym Jewellery said: “We are absolutely delighted with the award as they are based on the real life experiences of customers. Buying jewellery is a very personal experience and the team here are passionate about helping people make informed choices and purchasing beautifully crafted jewellery of the highest quality.”
