New Sloane Square location to throw open doors at the end of October.
Tateossian will open its new Sloane Square men’s boutique in October, signalling the start of the brand’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
It is hoped that the dedicated men’s flagship store, situated near London’s King’s Road shopping street, will provide a destination for fashion-conscious customers from the surrounding area.
Building renovation work on Tateossian’s King’s Road store provided the catalyst for the company to close its operation and wait for a more suitable location to arise in the surrounding area.
Tateossian chief executive officer Robert Tateossian commented: “It has been a focus to reopen since the refurbishment of The Duke York [King’s Road] area. This store will be an exclusive men’s accessory store with the most high end pieces Tateossian has to offer.”
The brand has commissioned Italian ‘pls design’ duo Lino Lasanno and Lorenzo Perini – designers for Dolce and Gabanna and Valentino stores – to create the aesthetic of the flagship’s interior, including the signature blue line design.
Glass, mirrors and lacquered wood will all contribute to the clean minimal yet luxurious shopping environment, which is also expected to contain a dedicated cufflink bar. The atmosphere will purportedly be “snug, inviting and the perfect setting for the new season collections,” according to the brand.
The new flagship is expected to open at the end of October.
