Haute jewellery house unveils campaign with help from Carine Roitfeld.
Fabergé has unveiled its first advertising campaign since being back in family ownership, with a little help from the acclaimed photographer Mario Testino and former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld.
The advert showcases the jewellery house’s signature refined style with jewellery from its Les Fabuleuses de Fabergé and Les Saisons Russes collections which were shown at Paris Courture week in July this year.
The jewellery adorns Bee Gee, a Russian-Lithuanian model said to be a rising star in the world of modelling. She also wears one of Fabergé’s egg pendants from Les Fameux de Fabergé collection, based on the objets d’art that it is most famous for. She is also adorned with a diamond and gemstone neckpiece from Les Favorites de Fabergé line.
The campaign was led by Fabergé’s managing and creative director, Katharina Flohr, who worked closely with Testino, former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld and producer Camilla Johnson-Hill on the shoot.
Flohr, Testino and Roitfeld have previously worked together on the launch of Russian Vogue back in 1998.
“This pioneering campaign, the first ever associated with the name, marks a new era of contemporary creativity for Fabergé. [It] captures the intense and emotive glamour and storytelling that characterises all contemporary Fabergé creations,” said the brand.
The campaign will launch in the December issue of several major glossy titles in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and the US.
