Theo Fennell hosted the annual awards at the Royal College of Art on Thursday July 2.
The awards, now in their tenth year, saw prizes awarded to graduating students from the Metalwork and Jewellery MA programme.
On the judges panel with Theo Fennell was Vogue jewellery editor Carol Woolton and design critic Stephen Bayley.
The following five students were chosen as winners for their exceptional work:
Overall Excellence: Carrie Dickens
Best Work in Silver: Honggang Lu
Best Work in Jewellery: Yun-Sun Jang
Highly Commended: Mengfei Zhang
Highly Commended: Nana Asafua Dawson
The winners received a cash prize and a silver pavilion dish crafted by hand in Theo Fennell’s dedicated workshop.
Fennell is passionate about promoting and nurturing young talent and actively supports the future of the British jewellery and silversmithing industries, as demonstrated through his longstanding partnership with the Royal College of Art. He will once again be showcasing this year’s winning designs at Theo Fennell’s flagship Fulham Road store later in the year.
