Brand to land on South Molton Street, close to Links and Annoushka.
Jewellery brand Thomas Sabo has revealed plans to open a flagship London store in late October, positioned close to key Monica Vinader, Links of London and Annoushka retail stores.
The German brand will take over a 120sqm boutique at the Brook Street end of South Molton Street in central London, close to New Bond Street and Oxford Street. The street has become home to a number of jewellery brands in recent times, with a Monica Vinader store and a large Annoushka retail presence. Fashion brands on the street include Kurt Geiger, Browns, The Kooples and costume jeweller Butler & Wilson.
The store will be specially designed to work seamlessly with the building’s existing historical features, with decor that nods to an "eclectic mix of cultural influences that are synonymous with Thomas Sabo".
The new store opening coincides with wider UK growth for the Thomas Sabo brand, which is launching three more stores in key areas in Q3 2014. New retail premises include a recent opening in the WestQuay in Southampton, which will be followed by an 80sqm store in The Glades, Bromley, and a 70sqm space in Manchester’s Arndale Centre, opening in September and October respectively.
A statement from the brand said: "These expansions continue to cement Thomas Sabo’s position as one of the leading brands within the international jewellery market selling jewellery, watches and beauty of the highest quality with exceptional design and versatility."
The new South Molton Street store will stock the sterling silver Glam and Soul and Rebel at Heart collections, alongside its Karma Beads, Charm Club and the Thomas Sabo Watch and beauty ranges.
