Jewellery brand plans to build on success of single Venice boutique.
Silver jewellery brand Ti Sento is planning to open 20 to 30 stores worldwide but has “no firm plans” to open any standalone shops in the UK.
Ti Sento, which is owned by IBB Amsterdam, already has one shop in Vienna and has plans to open up to 30 shops globally. However, the UK does not feature on its list of preferred locations at present.
The brand now has 200 stockists in the UK and 420 doors in Holland but has also been making inroads into several other international markets including Albania and Canada, where the brand said it is receiving an increasing number of enquiries from high-end watch and jewellery retailers.
Ti Sento UK sales manager Judith Wade said: “Canadian shops that stock Rolex and Patek Philippe and are looking for silver jewellery are coming to us as they don’t want to do they bead thing as they feel that is a step too far.”
The jewellery brand has been on a rapid expansion drive in the UK and is still hoping for more growth through independent retailers. Wade said that Ti Sento’s projection plans for the UK are to increase its stockists from 200 to between 350 and 400.
