Danish jewellery brand Trollbeads has announced the appointment of Henrik Leth Møller as interim managing director of Trollbeads UK.

Leth Møller joined the brand as sales director in January 2014, having previously worked for Danish watch company Bering Time.

This announcement comes as David Riddiford steps down from his position as Trollbeads UK chief executive, having ensured a smooth transition for Trollbeads’ acquisition of distributor, Fable Trading, which became a subsidiary of the Trollbeads Group in September 2013.

Trollbeads global chief executive officer, Jan Stig Anderson, commented: “I would like to take the opportunity to thank David for his hard work and the effort he has put into the development of our business here in the UK. His leadership, experience and business acumen has helped to strengthen Trollbeads organisation and build the brand in the UK. David is leaving us as a good friend of Trollbeads in order to enjoy a well deserved semi-retirement combined with some consultancy and non-executive work.

“Henrik Leth Møller has worked as our UK sales director during the last year and we all know him as an experienced professional with exceptional drive and highly relevant jewellery experience. These strengths, in conjunction with his business acumen, wholesale expertise and his knowledge and experience of the Trollbeads team and our retailers make him a perfect interim managing director for the brand in the UK."
