First-time supporter gets on board with the glamorous PJ event.
Trollbeads has signed up as a gold partner for the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2011.
The charm bead jewellery join Professional Jeweller Hot 100 principal partner The Company of Master Jewellers in supporting the September event that launched last year and has since got the whole industry talking.
This is the first time that Trollbeads has joined forces with a Professional Jeweller event and Sarah Morfoot, managing director of Trollbeads UK and ROI distributor Fable Trading, said she is delighted at the prospect after having been impressed with the event in 2010.
She said: “The Hot 100 is an exciting, glamorous and high-profile concept that provides a great opportunity to celebrate success across a broad spectrum of industry activities, from new talents and design trends to business achievements and retail excellence. It’s an ideal platform to showcase distinction in our industry and to promote and nurture emerging talents. We’re thrilled to be involved.”
It would seem that the feeling is mutual, according to Professional Jeweller editor-in-chief Rachael Taylor. She said: “Trollbeads is one of the best-respected bead brands in the world and Fable Trading in particular has a fantastic business here in the UK. We are honoured that Sarah and her team have chosen to give our event their support and we are confident that their faith in the project will be well rewarded by an association with the most glamorous and powerful publishing event in the jewellery industry’s calendar.”
The Professional Jeweller Hot 100 will be the biggest party of the year for the British jewellery industry. Just like last year, the Professional Jeweller editorial team will compile its list of 100 of 2011’s most influential industry leaders and present original portraits with insightful profiles of each of the 100 in a keepsake book. The book will be unveiled at an exclusive invite-only party at a yet undisclosed London venue on September 6.
Taylor said: “We have just today had an extremely inspirational meeting with our events director Omar Kawas, who has put on shows for the likes of Justin Timberlake, and he has some fantastic ideas about how to give this year’s event some real wow factor. Much of the magic will be saved for the evening but we’ll be leaking a few teasers online in the coming months.”
