UK jewellers join forces to help Nepal victims


British jewellery designers have come together to offer jewellery raffle prizes to raise money for the Nepal disaster.

Sian Evans Jewellery launched the idea after the first earthquake. News soon spread and now a large group of jewellers have joined forces and donated pieces of their work to raise money for Nepal victims.

Within 24 hours of the raffle being shared on social media the first batch of raffle tickets run out.

Jewellers involved so far are: Alex Monroe, Polly Wales, COOPS, Tomasz Donocik, Jacey Withers, Helene Turbe, Laura Lee, Sweetpea Fine Jewellery, FESWA, Sophie Thomas, Frieda Munro, Pearl & Queenie, Brooke Gregson, Amy McColl, Jenny Parker, Leo Demenitiev, Natasha Kinko and Sian Evans Jewellery.

Raffle tickets cost £5 and all proceeds go to the Red Cross.

The jewellery will be on show at the Sian Evans studio at 111-113 St John Street, Clerkenwell, London from 6pm on May 18 2015 and 12-6pm May 19-20. People will be able to donate and try on the jewellery in person during these times.

There will be three winning tickets. Jewellery will be posted out to the winners by special delivery or they can collect their prize in person.

The draw will be on May 22 and winners will be informed shortly after.
