Spanish fashion brand UNOde50 is making its debut at IJL next month off the back of opening its first branded boutique on London’s Regent Street.
The company is also closing in on a second store opening in Covent Garden ahead of Christmas.
Uno de 50 began life in the late 1990s as a jewellery business, and has since branched out into watches and fashion accessories.
Its 110 branded stores around the world carry the full fashion line, but UNOde50 in the UK is looking to work with quality independent and multiple jewellers and watch retailers for relevant lines.
“We made a good start exhibiting at Spring Fair in February where we met with great jewellers like Goldsmiths, Beaverbrooks and Steffans,” the company’s business development director David Azulay told Professional Jeweller earlier this year.
For the upcoming Autumn-Winter 15/16 collection, the UNOde50 design team describes how it is taking customers on a Universal journey through a telescope.
“This vast universe reveals grey and white pearls, representing the lunar phases, lets us touch the stars through the tiny coloured Swarovski crystals or enables us to feel the planetary orbits through silver plated XL chains,” the brand explains.
“This adventure through the universe takes us back to Earth, where elements as terrestrial as horns evoking strength and energy await us, complemented with dragonfly pieces that exude a sense of freedom. This collection is the perfect fusion of the two parts that make up our universe: earth and sky,” the company states.
