Jewellery designer to join fellow jewellers during LJW’s ethical show.
Ethical jewellery designer Ute Decker has announced that she will be part of Essence, an ethical jewellery design show to be held at the Ethical Jewellery Pavilion during London Jewellery Week in June.
As one of the first designers to poineer Fairtrade Fairmined gold here in the UK, Decker will be part of the show, which has been launched this year in response to the rising interest in ethical jewellery and the buzz created by the launch of Fairtrade
gold in February.
The Essence show is set to be a key event for London Jewellery Week, sitting alongside the main selling exhibition, Treasure. Decker will exhibit her minimalist PURE collection made in Fairtrade gold, alongside her "wearable sculptures" which have been crafted in recycled silver.
Decker will utilise her appearance at Essence to offer jewellery lovers the chance to see her new collections for the first time, while taking orders for bespoke designs made in Fairtrade gold.
Alongside Decker, several other ethical jewellery designers and brands will exhibit, including April Doubleday, Avasarah, Choo Yilin, CRED, Fifi Bijoux, Leblas and Oria.
The Essence show will take place at the Ethical Jewellery Pavilion, within Treasure, from 10 – 12 June 2011 at Victoria House, Southampton Row, London.
