Collection brings affordable jewels to iconic London department store.

V Jewellery is the latest British designer brand chosen to grace the cabinets of the Fortnum & Mason jewellery room, housed within the luxury department store on Piccadilly, London.

The brand was created by father and daughter team Timothy Vann and Laura Vann. It launched in 2013 to great acclaim with silver and cubic zirconia collections of an Art Deco leaning, with RRPs from £45 to £185.

V Jewellery is currently stocked at Kabiri, Start Boutique and The Shop at Bluebird in London. It will launch at Fortnum & Mason on August 13, boosting its UK stockist count, which last year stood at more than 50 stores.

A statement from V Jewellery said: "The brand’s notion of classic and modern combined is evident in its very roots; V is a father-daughter collaboration seeking to design timeless pieces of sterling silver jewellery for a contemporary-minded customer.

"Whether it is a patent nod to The Wizard of Oz’s Emerald City or a more obscure allusion to New York’s Art Deco Chanin Building, creative director Laura Vann will almost always refer to bygone eras before adding a marked clean-cut spin to the product styling. It is for this reason that V anticipates a fruitful reception for the introduction of V Jewellery in Fortnum & Mason."

The brand is said to have been selected by Fortnum & Mason’s accessories buyer in a bid "to explore new realms within the luxury store by offering markedly affordable prices in the form of V Jewellery". It will showcase new collections at IJL at Olympia later this month.
