Donatella says to expect bold, gold, leather, studs and iconic Versace
Versace is the latest designer to team up with H&M for a high street collection and the range will include jewellery, Professional Jeweller can reveal.
As part of a wider fashion and homewares collection for the high street fashion store, Versace will create a range of jewellery.
Versace’s A/W 11 catwalk show at Milan Fashion Week was devoid of jewellery offering no clues as to the style of pieces that the brand will create for H&M but reports have stated that it will be costume jewellery for both men and women.
Speaking of the styling of the range Versace creative director Donatella Versace said shoppers should expect iconic Versace motifs, oversized glamorous pieces, gold, leather and studs.
Versace added: “I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere.”
The Versace for H&M jewellery will be in stores on November 17.
H&M creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch said: “Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times, and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant – everything Versace stands for. This is such a celebratory collaboration and is perfect for the party season.”
