Jewellery editor opts for pearls and hoops for first collection.

UK Vogue jewellery editor Carol Woolton has flexed her design muscles in the creation of a capsule jewellery collection for QVC.

The range, dubbed the Ultimate Jewellery Wardrobe, marks the first time that Woolton, a former Professional Jeweller Hot 100 Trailblazer, has designed a jewellery range. The collection is said to encapsulate the basics for every woman’s jewellery collection, with a monochrome theme and inspirations from the Art Deco era.

Woolton said of the range: “I wanted my first collection to be a series of timeless and elegant pieces that make up the building blocks for every woman’s jewellery wardrobe. The range includes classic pieces that are extremely wearable and will help women form their own jewellery stories – they can be mixed and matched and will always look relevant, even in 50 years time.”

The collection has RRPs from £40 to £179. Woolton added:“A statement ring, drop earrings, hoop earrings, pearls and a long necklace – classic pieces that every woman should own.”

The launch of the collection follows TV personality Donna Air creating a 9ct gold range, Little Birds for QVC, which launched last week.
