As votes flood in one brand dominates Collections of the Year fashion category

One brand has received a vote from nearly every retailer who has submitted a nomination for the Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year category in Professional Jeweller’s Collections of the Year initiative.   

French jewellery brand, Les Georgettes, which only launched into the UK at the end of last year, has been receiving a strong backing from its stockists.

While retailers are split between which collection has been dominating sales, they all agree that having the brand’s colourful collection of interchangeable cuffs in store has been good for business over the last 12 months.

The 2017 Collections of the Year nominations process opened last week, with trade professionals having until October 27 to have a say in which brands will make this year’s final.

This means the industry has two weeks left to get their nominations in.

Once filled in, the completed form can be emailed to Professional Jeweller’s editor at stacey.hailes@itppromedia.com. 

Alternatively, trade professionals can send nominations over email without filling out the form, as long as it is clear what category the collection is being nominated for and gives a reason for the vote. We ask that entrants just nominate one collection per category, however it is possible to vote the same brand or designer for multiple categories as long as they have a dedicated collection that suits the conditions of the category.

Collections that launched prior to January 1 2016 will not be considered. Collections chosen as overall winners and finalists will not necessarily be based on overall sales and as such we encourage independent designer-makers to put forward their designs.
