WatchPro launches as standalone magazine

ITP Promedia answers calls to create the UK’s first B2B watch title.

ITP Promedia is delighted to announce the launch of WatchPro as a standalone magazine.

The title, which has been published within Professional Jeweller for the past 12 months, is firmly established as an invaluable source of news, analysis and inspiration for watch brands and retailers, but expanding the title will make it even bigger and stronger.

“We have an unquenchable passion for watches,” said Rachael Taylor, editor-in-chief for Professional Jeweller and WatchPro. “We love the history, the artistry, the technical innovation, the people and the incredible business opportunities of the watch world.”

WatchPro will initially be published as a standalone magazine four times per year, while Professional Jeweller will continue to carry the magazine inside its covers in all other months.

The launch edition, in March, will reach more than 5,000 subscribers in the UK, plus an additional bonus circulation of 2,000 copies circulated at global watch show BaselWorld in Basel, Switzerland. The issue will carry a major preview of BaselWorld, along with exclusive interviews with today’s most influential watch buyers and brands.

Taylor added: “Every European retailer serious about watches will be at BaselWorld – not just jewellers, but also specialist watch buyers for high street watch boutiques, online retailers and department stores. We are going to give them all the information they need to make optimum use of their time at this enormous trade show.”
