Wolf London launches women’s cufflink collection

New brand creates debut silver and gold lines with Hannah Martin.

Wolf London, a new cufflink brand, has launched here in the UK, setting its sights on the growing women’s cufflink market with a range of luxury, design-led products.

The company has bought in jewellery designer Hannah Martin to design the range, which has four lines named after four goddesses: Freya, Persephone, Vivian and Hathor.

Creative director of Wold London, David Nation, said: “Our pieces aim to take cufflinks for women to a new level; they are exquisite jewellery creations that reflect the wearer’s personality and individual beauty.”

Martin has helped to create the debut collection, taking inspiration from goddesses in the forms of fire, ice, earth and moon.

The collections are crafted in sterling silver, palladium, 9ct and 18ct gold. The Freya cufflinks, designed with a spiky fan-shape in sterling silver to imitate the icy Nordic goddess, retail at £975.

The 18ct gold Hator cufflinks – the most luxe of the four – have been made in 18 carat red gold and are set with approximately 1ct of brilliant cut rubies in each cufflink, and a total of .90ct of black diamonds, with a price tag of £13,650.

The designs are reminiscent of Martin’s edgy style, with clean lines, sharp edges and a play on texture and surfaces.
“The brand draws on parallels with the she wolf,” says Nation. “A vision of immense beauty, a being that encapsulates the exceptional natural resources of the female in all its forms.”
