Worcester’s WH Peplow opens second store

Strong Pandora sales lead to contemporary g6 Jewellery shop opening.

Worcester retail jeweller WH Peplow has opened a new contemporary jewellery store in the town called g6 Jewellery.

Peplow manager Jo Bourne said that successful sales of charm brand Pandora had been a contributing factor to opening a separate store for contemporary jewellery.

She told local paper Tewkesbury Admag: “[Pandora] has been hugely successful in our existing store and we felt that opening g6 would create a relaxed and exclusive shopping experience. We are able to provide customers with more products including their new spring summer range, earrings, rings and necklace collections.”

The shop on Worcester’s Pump Street was officially opened by Miss Worcester Katie Sinclair and the first 50 customers to enter the shop were given a free Pandora charm. Shoppers, who had been queing outside the store in anticipation of its opening, were also given the chance to win £1,000 to spend in store by guessing at what exact time a Pandora bracelet would slip off the thumb of a melting ice sculpture.

WH Peplow was founded in 1818.
