Irish jewellery brand Chupi has won an accolade in the jewellery category at the inaugural Irish Made Awards 2017.

The Irish Made Awards, organised by Irish Country magazine, highlights the best in Irish-made products across industries including fashion, crafts, food, technology and beauty. The shortlist was announced in June, when the voting process was opened up to the public to choose ten category honourees and one overall winner.

As winner of the Jewellery category, Chupi will feature in a special issue of Irish Country magazine in September.

Following the competition, the winner, honourees and Irish Country magazine readers will be invited to attend an event to hear talks from Ireland’s best known designers, makers and producers.

Chupi Sweetman, founder of the eponymous brand, comments: “We were absolutely delighted to win at the very first Irish Made Awards. Each piece of Chupi jewellery is designed, manufactured and finished in Ireland, which is something we are extremely proud of. We would like to thank everyone who voted for us, as it means so much to be recognised for this.”

Former Topshop designer Sweetman founded Chupi in 2013. The brand offers delicate, hand-crafted jewellery in gold and silver inspired by “wild and natural things”.
