Aagaard aims to raise thousands for forces charity

Help for Heroes to benefit from sales of latest friendship bracelets.

Charity bracelets designed to raise money for armed forces personnel as they return from war zones are launching in the UK.

Aagaard first introduced the range of bracelets in 2009 into its home country of Denmark. Since then sales of the unisex bracelet range has raised £360,000 for services charities.

The fashionable collection of bracelets, named From Soldier to Soldier, are described by Jens J. Aagaard as a fashion statement with a social conscience. The UK charity Help for Heroes has been chosen as the beneficiary of any profits from the bracelets’ sales.

£15 of every sale will go to Help for Heroes, which provides direct, practical support to members of the armed forces who have been injured in the line of duty.

The From Soldier to Soldier design is based on survival bracelets worn in combat by service personnel where parachute chord is used to make improvised bracelets that combine style with practicality in the combat operations.

The Aargaard bracelets are available with a range of sterling silver or gold-plated clasps shaped with military motifs uniform buttons.
