The jewellery and accessories retailer had previously shared a website with its sister fashion chain Monsoon and the standalone launch has been spearheaded by new ecommerce and multichannel marketing director Kristine Kirby, who joined the chain from fashion retailer Fat Face in July.

Going forward Kirby is said to be planning the launch of country-specific sites for Accessorize to tap into the international market.
