The campaign imagery shows Parish playfully posing in the Suntrap Garden in Edinburgh, with the collection campaign split into three main themes – Time to Play, Time to Shine and Time to Explore.

Ortak’s team of in-house designers, Clare T Goodall and Laura Christie, created the new collections, which include designs called Walk in the Woods, Luna, Harvest and Kooky. The new range includes designs with made with hot glass enamel and sterling silver.

Parish follows in the footsteps of other celebrities including Carol Smillie and her daughter Christie, Jill Halfpenny, Amanda Lamb, Myleene Klass, Suzanne Shaw and Kate Ford to model for the Orcadian jewellery brand.

Parish said of the new campaign: “I was delighted when I was approached to become the face of Ortak’s new 2011/12 campaign – like most women I love jewellery but the level of craftsmanship that goes into each Ortak piece and the brand’s heritage makes it even more special.

“We had great fun on-location for the shoot and I really did fall in love with the new collections – I’ve already added a few pieces to my jewellery box and genuinely believe that there’s something in the new range for every taste and every occasion. My personal favourite is Harvest – the bright shades are perfect for adding a splash of colour to my autumn/winter wardrobe,” she added.

Yvonne Carr, Ortak’s retail director added: “The team at head office are big fans of Sarah and when it came to selecting the new face of Ortak 2011 we all agreed that Sarah was the perfect choice. She’s a naturally beautiful woman but she’s also very likeable and down to earth – we are sure that she will be a huge hit with our customers. We had a fantastic day on-set and I think that really comes across in the images.”

Ortak Jewellery was founded in 1967 and continues to design and create inspirational and ever-changing collections.

Ortak’s new collections will be available in Ortak’s fifteen stores in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Livingston, Newcastle, Orkney, Sheffield and Stirling.
