Alex Monroe joins fight to end plastic pollution

British jewellery designer brand, Alex Monroe, is joining the fight against plastic pollution this year.

Alex Monroe has always strived to be a sustainable brand, which does its bit to help preserve the earth for future generations.

Last year the British brand partnered with Friends of the Earth, the world’s largest environmental campaigning organisation, on its ‘Save the Bees’ campaign, and it will be working with the organisation again to help end plastic pollution.

The narrative will be central to the designer’s upcoming SS19 collection, and the business will also proactively reduce its plastic footprint this year.

Next month Friends of the Earth will be campaigning for companies to become as plastic-free as possible. As part of this Alex Monroe has pledged its commitment to becoming a plastic pollution free business –  hoping to be free from virgin plastics by 2022.

Alex Monroe will be sharing its journey to plastic free on social media and providing opportunities for customers to join the cause.

More details on its plans to prevent plastic waste this year will be unveiled soon.
