Alexis Dove plotting bespoke bridal focus

Jeweller attracting visitors from across UK to Sussex shop and bench.

Alexis Dove has reported plans to push further into the bespoke bridal sector, having grown her silver and gold vermeil wholesale collections in the UK in recent years.

The Lewes-based designer operates a jewellery shop and workshop, where she makes and sells her silver and fine jewellery collections. Having established a wholesale based for her nature-inspired silver designs, Dove now plans to place greater emphasis on her fine jewellery and bespoke ranges.

She told Professional Jeweller that she has won increasing interest from couples and brides-to-be seeking bespoke engagement ring designs. She now plans to focus further on this sector of her business, having gained traction for the service following advertising spots in consumer magazines including women’s monthly Red.

Dove told Professional Jeweller of bespoke enquiries and visitors far afield as Wigan and Wells, as brides seek out one-on-one design consultations for more unusual rings.

Her fine jewellery and bridal pieces are typically set with natural-coloured cinnamon, grey and black diamonds. Over the past 15 years, Dove has collected an array of stones including a selection of rare coloured sapphires, tourmalines, spinels and old-cut diamonds.
