Award-winning British accessories brand Alice Made This will release a new women’s jewellery collection in November.

The Fibre Collection of statement necklaces and bracelets have been made using coloured Dyeema cord and will be available in blue, pink and black.

Dyneema is the world’s strongest and lightest fibre and is more frequently used in the mining, sports and aviation industries.

Founder of Alice Made This, Alice Walsh, worked with a British factory, specialising in performance ropes and cords, to plait Dyneema fibres into the pieces.

Walsh said: “When I learnt about Dyneema fibres I was really keen to explore this raw material as a story.

“Not only is this cord technically best in class, but the colour palette we have chosen is bold, feminine and refined.

“With our signature brass hardware, our customers can create compositions to suit their style, their mood or the occasion. This collection is all about enjoying the act of self-expression.”

Walsh founded her business to design refined objects of desire and use British industrial engineering methods to offer simple accessories and jewellery.

Based in South East London, Walsh said she is inspired by “form, proportion and geometry, with a passion and respect for materials at its core.”
