The final episode of BBC Two’s jewellery talent competition show All That Glitters aired last night, finally unveiling the winner as 24-year-old Hugo Johnson.

The show pitted eight jewellers against one another across six episodes in a Great British Bake Off-style formula, culminating yesterday evening.

Despite his young age the Sussex jewellery designer has been working at handmade bespoke jeweller RTFJ since he first did work experience there in 2011.


His employer Tweeted his joy at Johnson’s success minutes after the finale finished last night:
