Fledgling jewellery brand needs votes to secure £10,000 investment.

Alyssa Smith Jewellery has become the only jewellery brand to be shortlisted for the annual Smarta 100 Awards but needs your help to win the top prize of £10,000.

The annual awards, held in association with the O2, strives to find the most “resourceful, original, exciting and disruptive small businesses in the UK”. The awards are vote based and ask the shortlisted companies to drum up support by getting their networks to vote for them.


Alyssa Smith Jewellery is currently in sixth position, out of 100 shortlisted companies, and is the only jewellery company on the list.

Alyssa Smith Jewellery founder and designer Alyssa Smith said: “I think it would be great if a young jeweller could win this award, and beat all the bigger corporate companies.

“I’m hoping others in the jewellery sector will support this and vote for me. It only takes five seconds to vote but would mean the world to changing and growing my fledgling company.”

Currently alongside Alyssa Smith Jewellery in the top 10 are accountants KashFlow, recruitment agency Oil and Gas People, onesie designer Kigu, golf shoe brand Albartross Design, media accessories maker MediaDevil, food takeaway service Housebites, whiteboard maker Magic Whiteboard, employment agency Enterprise Lab and make-up artists The Glam Collective.
