Brand flaunts ethical jewels on catwalk using TV stars and actresses.

Indian jewellery brand Amrapali showcased its new collection Panna, a collaboration with London-based ethical coloured gemstone company Gemfields, during the opening day of the third annual India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) in Mumbai.
The popular brand is said to have thrilled the audience with a special selection of models, including singer and TV actress Lia Arun and designer Masaba Gupta. Bollywood star Abhay Deol and former America’s Next Top Model contestant Nargis Fakhri also modelled the jewellery collection that features ethical emeralds.
Amrapali used a variety of materials in the designs including silver, 18ct and 22ct gold with all pieces featuring fancy shape diamonds, uncut and rose cut diamonds and emeralds.
Tarang Arora , designer and head of international operations at Amrapali said that he was “proud to be part of the third edition of IIJW” and that he was “delighted” that Gemfields, who sourced the stones, had been a part of their collection.
Amrapali has stores across the world in Delhi, Mumbai, New York and London.
