Andrew Geoghegan reports best year yet

Designer fine jewellery brand Andrew Geoghegan has reported 2015 as its best year yet.

Following a big investment, the appointment of a new sales director, a thorough rebrand and a reinvigorated commitment to support retail partners, Andrew Geoghegan has enjoyed a 43% increase in business turnover for the year 2014/2015.

The rebrand – based upon months of soul-searching and introspection from founder Geoghegan to understand how best to communicate to his wearers – kicked off the beginning of what has been a huge shift for the brand to become a recognised name in luxury jewellery. This was accompanied by the launch of a new website and commission of industry photographer Andrew Neilson to ensure brand imagery was exactly where it needed to be.

Brand founder Andrew Geoghegan comments: “2015 saw the implementation of what has been months of work behind the scenes. In short, we’ve flipped the business upside down; reviewing, improving and simplifying business process and looking at each and every supplier from marketing through to accounting – ensuring that each and every one was right for the brand.”

“Bringing Catherine Strangward into the business as sales director, with her 20+ years experience at Cartier, has really focused our attention and brought the retailer to the forefront. A host of new retailers have seen the benefit of investing in the AG. This is certainly an exciting time for retailers to invest in the brand. We’ve developed truly luxurious and captivating POS and importantly, we’ve done all of this whilst launching award winning designs cherished by retailer, consumer and press alike.”

Geoghegan concludes: “I’m trying to respond mindfully and absorb the invaluable learning present in each issue that crops up, but there’s no doubt the momentum, excitement and energy of 2015 is surging forcefully into this year. There are numerous pieces and collections in the pipeline for 2016, but I’m particularly excited that February will see the ‘Claire de Lune’ Bridal collection – something I believe will be a real design classic.
